If you wish to set up a Timed Message but don't know yet how to do, this guide will show you how to do it.

Left hand side of the screen: Notice Subject and message Second Life only allow 512 characters in a notice, once you are getting Notice attachment Click the Browse button to open your bot's inventory. Group IM SLURL Do you want your IM to show a SLURL? Message settings You can format your IM in 3 different ways. You can save your message to use it as a template, save it with an Saved Timers: This dropdown list will show you any saved messages you have. In this step, we will save the message as a template that can later If you wish to create an active timer, please see the next step. Anything below here is used with an active timer. Saved Timers: This dropdown list will show you any saved messages you have. In this step, we will save the message with an activated timer. Add timer: Name: When you have typed up your message and selected the groups Type: Select wether this should be saved as a notice, a group IM Anything below here is used with an active timer. Active: This checkbox is used to activate or deactivate the timer. A deactivated message is perfect as a template. Send once: If this checkbox is marked, the timer will only be active for one Start now & Start at date: If the "start now" radiobutton is marked, the timer will become End at this date: When this checkbox is marked, the timer will end and become Send message every: Choose how often your message should be repeated. Select a message from the dropdown list. It will also select all the groups you checked before you saved your message.
Modify any part of the message or change groups according to your needs. The timersettings window will appear again. Make any changes in here if you need to and then click save. |
